Peace Leaders Global leadership initiative establishing in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil
Peace Leaders is a global leadership initiative that empowers young people who are most affected by violence and marginalisation. The initiative is founded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by Fryshuset. The initiative is a response to the UN Security Council resolution 2250, on Youth, Peace and Security. It is based on a leadership program which is designed for young people who are motivated to make a change in their communities. Participants get skills and knowledge on managing teams & project, communication, conflict mediation and peace building.
Peace Leaders is now establishing locally in Fortaleza, Brazil. Thanks to our skilled team of Peace Leaders trainers another 24 young people have been given access to the methods and values of Fryshuset. Big thanks to our awesome local leaders!
