Elektra’s dialogue package

Within the EU project FREE, we have developed a methodological material to raise awareness about norms and honour-related violence and oppression. The material is aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 17 and includes workshops and a handbook with clear instructions for leaders. The material is designed to be used independently by teachers and other leaders. However, we are of course happy to set up ourselves if desired and are happy to receive requests via email.

The workshops can be downloaded at the links below and are divided into the following themes:

Handbook
WS 1 – Introduction and human rights
WS 2 – Norms
WS 3 – Relations and violence
WS 4 – Honour-related violence and oppression
WS 5 – Summary and evaluation

Watch our short movie about Selma and Adam. Discussion questions can be found in the handbook.

Important for leaders:
Honour-related violence and oppression is a sensitive topic that can evoke strong emotions. Therefore, it is important to have clear procedures and a plan for how to deal with young people who may need extra support before you start working with the material. Elektra also offers lectures and workshops for professionals who want to immerse themselves in the material. For more information, contact us at elektra@fryshuset.se
